Bro. Steve Cosens R.O.H. Provincial Grand Primo, 2000 President Examining Council, 2001 Knight President, 2003, 2010 R.O.H. Assembly President 2009 Provincial Grand Treasurer

Bro. Steve was initiated into the New Era Lodge, No. 10229 on 25th January 1991 and shortly afterwards took on the office of Secretary, which he still holds today.

He was raised by New Era Lodge to Certified Primo on 7th July 1995, to Knight of the Order of Merit on 18th October 1998 and to Roll of Honour Member in 2006.

In September 1995 he became affiliated to the Welcome Lodge, of which he is now a Trustee.

He first attending PGL as delegate for New Era Lodge in 1995 and was elected to serve as PG Alderman of Benevolence for 1996. Since then he has served on the Executive Committee, Examining Council and our Community Services Committee and as a book examiner for the Province. He also served as Grand Lodge Delegate for the Province for several years.

In 2000 he was our Provincial Grand Primo.

He was President of the Examing Council in 2001 and President of Knights Chapter in 2003. He was elected to serve as President of the Chorley R.O.H. Assembly for 2009.

As well as his Buffing Bro. Steve enjoys crown green bowling, though this is now a rare luxury. He is also a keen pub quizzer, attending with his wife, Viv and daughter, Diane at a local hostelry whenever time permits.
