Bro. David Scales R.O.H. Provincial Grand Primo, 2003 Examining Council Past President

Bro. Dave was initiated into the Island Lodge, No. 9199, Singapore Province on 2nd September 1965.
On his return to the UK he moved to Catterick Lodge, No. 6728, Darlington & District Province who raised him to Certified Primo on 6th January 1967.
He later moved to King Edward Lodge, No. 1065 in Southport & District Province who raised him to Knight of the Order of Merit on 29th July 1971.
Back on the move Bro. David joined Alma Lodge, No. 653, which was then part of the Blackburn & District Province. They raised him to Roll of Honour on 1st March 1978. He first served as Lodge Secretary from 1976 to 1980 and again took up the office in 1999 and continues to serve in that office.
He is now affiliated to the Pride of Darwen Lodge No. 10441, New Era Lodge No. 10229, Welcome Lodge No. 2324 and Leyland Lodge No. 4546.
He first attending Chorley PGL when Alma Lodge transfered to the Province in 1995 and was elected to serve as PG Minstrel in 1999. Since then he has served on the Executive Committee, Examining Council and our Community Services Committee.
In 2001 he was elected to be our Provincial Grand Chamberlain and in 2002 our Deputy Provincial Grand Primo. He was then elected to serve as Provincial Grand Primo for 2003. He also holds office in our Roll of Honour Assembly.
