Bro. Albert Galbraith R.O.H. Chorley & Blackburn Province Provincial Grand Primo, Blackburn Province, 1976 President, Blackburn Knight's Chapter, 1977-1979 R.O.H. Assembly President 2011 Honorary Member

Bro Albert was initiated on 18th Feb 1966 into the El-Qantar Lodge 8553 in Cyprus whilst serving in the RAF. On returning to the UK he affiliated to the Robert Yates Lodge 4846 in Blackburn PGL.

He was raised by them to the 2nd Degree on 11 September 1970,to the 3rd Degree on 5th Dec 1973 and exalted to the 4th Degree on 9th April 1979.

He became PGP of Blackburn Province in 1976 and was President of Examining Council for 1977. He was also Grand Lodge delegate for Blackburn PGL for several years. He was active in Blackburn Knights Chapter and was elected President for 1977. A post he held for three consecutive years. He was also one of the founder members of the Chorley ROH Assembly.

He became a member of the Alma lodge 653 on 1st Jan 1986 when the two Lodges amalgamated. He has been a Trustee of the Alma Lodge for many years.

Following the merging of the Blackburn and Chorley Provinces Bro. Albert continues to support the activities of the Province.

He has remained a stalwart of the ROH Assembly throughout.
